Ludhiana Personality :: M.S. Cheema
M.S. Cheema was born in a village called Jangpur which is in the Ludhiana District of Punjab. He received his early education from Khalsa High School, Sudhar, Ludhiana. Later, he joined the Government College, Ludhiana and passed his BSc. During his College days, he was proficient in studies and was an outstanding sportsman. He passed his Teacher’s Training from Government Training College, Jalandhar and migrated to East Africa where he worked as teacher for eight years. Mr. Cheema passed his M.A in psychology from University of London. He has been devoted to Gurbani from his early age. He has produced over 50 audio cassettes on different aspects of spiritualism which are popular all over the world especially America, Canada, England and India. He is well known for treating people. The teachings which our Gurus and Satgurus have taught remain buried and inactivated. With the blessing of God, Mr. Cheema uses techniques taught by the Satguru and the Gurus. The techniques which remained dormant for many years have now been activated and rekindled and are used to treat people for numerous ailments. Successful treatments have been carried out on people suffering from acute depression, phobia, anxiety etc. Many people have miraculously been cured and the benefit of such treatments is now showing in more and more people who are trying to understand the techniques from Gurbani and how to apply them practically. This in turn helps people with self realization and comprehending day to day living in a more practical manner.
He very strongly believes that the benefits we have from Gurbani and its teachings are infinite. Gurbani must always be put before people. People sometimes believe that by merely reciting Gurbani we are doing justice to bani but how about factually believing that Gurbani has infinite benefits. Gurbani in itself is an ocean of cures to all problems, illnesses and ailments. There is no such thing that Gurbani does not offer a solution to. Gurbani always and always must come first.
He is the author of several books - Mann Tu Jot Sarup Hain Apna Mool Pachhan (Punjabi), The Sikh Bangle and Paradox of Evil, Self Realization volume 1, 2 & 3 (in English) one of the few known to be very popular and inspiring. An inspiring scholar who has dedicated much of his life to humanity, and charity organizations and frequently runs eye camps, and medical camps which also include dental treatments, twice every year (March and October). The treatments are carried out in reputable hospitals by professional doctors and staff. The much demanded medical camps and eye camps have been of great help to many members of the public who would have otherwise not been able to afford treatments, and restoration of sight have since assisted many to cope with a better quality of life and brought rays of light to them and their families. Bringing happiness and smile back into peoples. Lives seem to be his motto and ambition. The public at large are benefiting tremendously. The word is spreading and more and more people each year are now receiving treatments absolutely free of charge and at no cost whatsoever to them. He also believes in a policy of not receiving or taking any remuneration from any institute, firms, public or organizations and merely believes in doing Sewa.
His programmes, at present, are exclusively conducted on Amrit Bani Radio. Guru Manyo Granth programmes can now be heard at Amrit Bani Radio, broadcasting via satellite channel 926 and globally via the internet www.amritbani.com, on Saturdays from 10.00 am to 12.oo noon. With the volume of listeners and a popular demand from the listeners, the said programme is repeated every Monday from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. He shares his knowledge with all, and regularly holds classes and workshops in meditation and spiritualism. Mr. Cheema is an individual with fountain of knowledge and wisdom to which multinational ties, interfaith and multi faiths give recognition and admire him for indispensable teachings. His teachings are understood and comprehended in several languages and are well founded with scientific formulas and within the teachings of Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Surgeries are being conducted more frequently than ever before across all parts of United Kingdom, America, India and Europe and the rest of the world. The listener ship of "Guru Manyo Granth" is increasing by the minutes, and the programmes are educating people and teaching them how to lead a practical life, and overcome problems with the ambit of Gurbani.
