He was born on 20th October 1948.
He completed his graduation in 1970.
He got married to Meera Bajwa on 26th February 1979.
He is a qualified Mechanical Engineer, from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.
He is a member of the Institute of Engineers, a Chartered Engineer.
He is a Post Graduate in International Trade from IIFT, New Delhi (1977)
He has got over 35 years experience in operations and marketing.
He has worked in various MNCs in India, like Alfa Laval India Ltd, Pune & Mumbai and Molins of India Ltd. with rapid progression to their top management cadre.
He was appointed Vice President (International Business) with Best & Crompton, Chennai in 1990 before embarking on the private enterprise of setting up the Impact Group in 1991, starting with Impact Agencies Pvt Ltd, the Bajaj Auto dealership in Ludhiana. This is among the top 15 dealerships of the Company from among nearly 500 spread all over India.
He is also a director on the Board of all other group companies, namely Impact Motors Pvt Ltd, Jalandhar; Impact Leasing P. Ltd, Ludhiana; & Impact Projects P Ltd, Amritsar.
He is at present heading the operations of the Group as Executive Director and CEO. The Real Estate Development Company, Impact Projects Pvt Ltd envisions an exponential growth in business to touch Rs 500 crores turnover in the next 5 years.
He is very fond of swimming & competing with other swimmers of his age group.
His favourite pass timer is vocal singing, which he do for relaxation & recreation.
