Park Inn Hotel Ludhiana
Park Inn, part of Minneapolis-based Carlson Hotels Worldwide has announced the City Heart Hotel in Ludhiana, Punjab will undergo extensive refurbishment and be renamed the Park Inn Ludhiana. Managed by Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, an affiliate of Carlson Hospitality Worldwide, the Park Inn Ludhiana will join a growing number of hotels in the Park Inn portfolio across India.
Hotel City Heart is undergoing a complete closure and a modern renovation has commenced in August 2007. Park Inn Ludhiana will feature 50 well-equipped guest rooms and it would be a typical Park Inn hotel on the lines of already existing. It will have Fidelio installed, as is the norm with any new Carlson hotel. The hotel will feature an Indian restaurant, a bar and an exquisite banquet hall.
Located less than a kilometre away from the Ludhiana railway station, the hotel is easily assessable for guests. It is situated right next to the “Clock Tower" in the business district of Ludhiana, close proximity to the old town. Park Inn Ludhiana is scheduled to open towards the end of 2008.
