The Sound of India caravan by Panasonic was flagged off from the Westend Mall Ludhiana . The campaign will travel to 70 cities across India and create a bank of distinctive sounds from each region it travels to. Local talent will be invited for on the spot recording, to be done with a synthesiser, and the most outstanding voice, to be chosen by a jury at the end of the contest on September 11, will be rewarded.
