Green Land Senior Secondary Public School Ludhiana celebrated Teej

Teej was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Green Land Senior Secondary Public School Ludhiana.  The school campus was transformed into a typical Punjabi Village.

Students dressed up in colourful outfits enjoyed swings, sweets and danced to the tunes of popular folk songs. "Teej Queen" and "Mr. Punjab" contests were also held. Speaking on the occasion, the chairman and director of the school, Rajesh Rudhra and principal Baldeep Pandher said the roots of culture are in such traditions and celebrations were essential to acquaint students with their culture.
