804th free artificial limbs distribution camp was organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust at their Rishi Nagar Ludhiana. As many as 55 disabled persons got artificial limbs, caliper, tricycles and ear machine for listening.

Devinder Singh (44), a resident of Tarn Taran, got his right hand (artificial) back. He lost his hand in an electric shock accident in 2008. Similarly, Kewal Singh of Faridkot got an artificial leg. Neeru Bala, a resident of Ludhiana and a polio patient and beneficiary of this camp, expressed her gratitude to the trust.

Rajesh Jain, an employee of the trust, said that more than 3,200 people had been bene- fited from the trust so far. More such camps would be organised in other cities also.
