Quest Infosys Regional Centre of PTU organised a seminar at GGN Khalsa College

    

Quest Infosys Regional Centre of Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar, organised a seminar on "Corporate Strategy - A New paradigm for Growth" at GGN Khalsa College Civil Lines, Ludhiana, under its distance education programme. The resource person was Dr M.A. Zahir, Chairman, Synetic Business School (SBS), Ludhiana. Dr Zahir said, "Strategies are designed to ensure that the basic corporate objectives are met." He explained about the strategic management in detail and enlightened about internal strengths, weaknesses and external opportunities and Threats.

On the occasion, Er D.S. Sekhon, president of All India PTU DEP Associates, said, "Corporate strategy is supposed to be the means by which an organisation achieves success. Therefore, any company that works on strategy stands a better chance of being successful than a company that neglects this important area when leaders don’t spend sufficient time in defining their goal to market strategy . Often the company suffers and resources are wasted. It's the responsibility of a company’s leadership to set the overall strategic direction for the company and make sure that they are keepers of strat egy as the company moves forward and evolves. Prof M.S. Chabra, coordinator, GGNIVS Civil Lines, gave vote of thanks. Prof Kuldeep Singh, Director GGNIVS, also spoke on the occasion. Ivanna students shine in PTU examinations Samrala: The students of Ivanna Institute of Fashion Technology, Ludhiana, have produced excellent results in the Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar, examinations. Richa Garg and Deepika Arora of the institute topped the B.Sc Fashion Technology (first semester) and M.Sc Fashion Technology respectively at all India level.
