Devotees throng this ancient Sanglan Wala Shivalaya early in the morning & offer water, milk and “ber” to Lord Shiva at the shivalingams. During Shivratri, there are long queues of devotees awaiting their turn to make their offerings, at Sanglan Wala Shivalaya.
In the holy month of Shravan, hundreds of Kanwarias use to take an arduous journey to Hardwar from Ludhiana to get holy water from the River Ganga. Hundreds of Kanwarias have been undertaking this journey since many years to offer holy water in Sanglan Wala Shivalaya Mandir. Normall Kanwarias initially use to assemble at Gita Temple in Daresi and from there the Shiv devotees march to the ancient Sangla Wala Shivla and offer holy water to the idol of Lord Shiva.
