Baba Isher Singh (N) Senior Secondary Public School emphasizes on provision of varied activities, which help in developing a well-balanced personality of the students. The school started in 1987 under the guidance of Baba Isher Singh Nanaksar Education Trust and is affiliated to the Punjab board.
The purpose of all activities is the well being of the youth. The school aims at the ‘total’ welfare of students. Besides curricular attainment, educational objectives are achieved indirectly through student participation in these activities, which are organized by the school but are not carried out as part of formal classroom work. The co-curricular activities are an integral part of the total school curriculum. These activities facilitate healthy all-round development of the youth scholars so that they become good citizens and are able to serve their nation to the best of the abilities. Where true aim of education is the harmonious development and total welfare of the child, these student welfare activities have direct effect on the academic performance of the students.
