I, on behalf of our N.G.O. CITIZENS FOR PUBLIC CAUSES (Regd.), and Dr. KITCHLU NAGAR RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION (REGD.), Ludhiana, welcome Sh. A.K. Sinha, IAS, as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana and hope now the development works and incomplete projects like LAKKAR DA PULL etc.again started very soon. Please also check on illegal constructiuons and encroachments on public land besides construction of roads etc.

I live in Ludhiana for last 48 years.I realise from the core of the heart that Ludhiana Muncipal corporation can repair the damaged roads having patholes, humpy dumpy surface with a smart repair team which will save crores of rupees from public purse, but IT WILL NEVER DO SUCH A NICE WORK TO KILL THE MONEY coming out of the amount being spent on socalled new roads every year.NGO`s are useless , Religious bodies are of less value if we cannot even repair the roads up to the time when these will be build up in new shape.I am ready to work in such a movement.New Commissioner Mr.Sinha Sahib will certainly feel that there is a gr8 dragonlike here which stops you to do right things.
SecondlyGo to Patiala,Rly.Crossing near DUkhniwaran Sahib is opened with Rly bridge,and there is no slum type situation there.But, here in LDH, you can not stand or pass after 9 pm from beaneath bridges of Fzr Rly crossing and Dhuri line.If, both rly gates are opened up and shops are made below the bridges` area, then thousands of people will get benefitted and GOvt.Will earn Income.THis will reduce crime,gambling and encroachments..........Goodluck to all.Welcome to new commissioner Sahib.

GATES ON STREETS;- Fixing of gates on public streets by the local residents to close the streets for their personal benefits & parcking for their vehicalesd is illegal & unauthorised. M.C.L. should not allow these gates in the larghe public intrest.

TRANSFER OF MUNICIPAL COMMISSIONER;-It is matter of great pleasure that now Punjab Govt. is serious to reduce the curroption in MCL & to make the development works in Ludhiana. Posting of Mr. G.S. Ghuman, PCS is a clear signal in this connection. Now people of Ludhiana is expacting that our new Municipal Commissioner, Mr. A.K. Sinha, IAS now work hard for the development of city and take keen intrest to complete the projects like Lakkar Da Pull (ROB) which is hanging for the last so many years.

In Ludhiana city maximum public parks are located in Kitchlu Nagar, which are fully dveloped. Residents of Kitchlu Nagar request you also to please keep Ludhiana Green & clean and save water for the future of our next generation. Please also build pressure on your elected represantives to prove all civil amunities to the public.

Advani's drama:- Mr. Jaswant Singh might have annoyed a section of BJP by writing a contravisal book of Jinnha but he narrated a truth of a high leval politicle drama of Mr. L.K. Advani that he was the centre of "CASH-FOR-VOTES scam drama enacted in the Lok Sabha. Now BJP and Mr. L.K. Advani should apology to the nation.

The defeat of SAD candidate of Ward No. 57 of MCL, the election of which was performed on Sunday the 23rd Aug 09 is due to the incompetent Commissioner, MCL. As Ludhiana is a metro city and there must be an IAS cadre Commissioner of MCL. During the tenure of the present Commissioner no development works are seen in the city except wastage of public money. I, as a General Sectratary of Citizens For Public Causes (Regd.) an N.G.O. demands the Govt. to transfer the present Commissioner immediately.

In these days when the shortage of funds are with Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana and Commissioner, MCL is wasting the funds unneccesarily. Govt. should check these things and appoint an IAS officer as Commissioner.

Power cut is a regular and contineous feature of Ludhiana. During power cut, the traffic lights do not work, thus causing great risk and in-convenience to the public. Some remedial measures should be taken to keep the traffic lights "on" during power cut.

"Shahi Imam - Maulana Habib Ur Rehman issued a fatwa against former Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana Chander Mohan" is the very right step in the right direction. Maulvi, who converted Chander into Islam should also be reprimanded, as he definitely knew about the misuse, which was about to happen! Why not take an affidavit before conversion from such bad persons, who can be later-on prosecuted as per Indian laws (for using Islam for their fun).Are Dharminder+Hema practising Islam.Fatwa for them?

South City is an up-coming posh locality of Ludhiana. But its internal roads are in very damaged/deteriorated condition, which needs immediate repairs. Besides this, the electric lines are passing at a very low height causing danger to passing vehicles/human life
