Adeeb International – Sahir Cultural Academy
Adeeb International (Sahir Cultural Academy) is an organization committed to art, literature & culture. Adeeb International Ludhiana has been in the forefront of promoting art, literature and sulture in India has kept alive the interest in Urdu Language. In addition to general activities, it has been organizing Jashn-e-Sahir, Urdu Mushaira, an annual literary function in memory of great Urdu poet Sahir Ludhianvi for the last 35 years. The significant commemoration, besides cultural events and academic seminars have long story. To the making of this History much has been done by patrons and poets intellectuals of eminence as well as persons of prominence.
The members of Adeeb International always keep their spirit high & always work only:
- To spot and support the talent.
- To promote, develop literature, art & culture.
- To provide Forum and avenue to the artists to present & exhibit their artistic creations.
- To felicitate the writers and artists for their outstanding contribution in their respective fields.
- To provide common platform to multilingual writers, artists and thinkers, through its literary and cultural activities.
- To encourage new talent for creative activities and to work for National integration, peace and Universal brotherhood.
